Industry 1.0  was more involved in  manual labour and mechanical , the use of water or/and steam engines power.  Industry 2.0  geared it up to  electric and legacy machine  and operated with humans' assistance, although it made the work easier for humans.  Industry 3.0  came with the introduction of I nformation Technology and digital evolution , information became easier to store and retrieve, also leading to machinery reducing labour work for humans.  Industry 4.0  seek to build a  relationship between humans and robots  and for robots to make decisions for humans based on the information it stores, retrieves and acquires, e.g. driverless vehicles, 3D printing etc. Generation where information and data can be stored online in a "cloud", data is viewed in-real time, and machines taking over most human activities.
